VABF Foundation Accepting Donations

On March 26, 2002 the IRS recognized the VABF Foundation, as a tax-exempt* 501(c)(3) organization. The primary purposes of the VABF Foundation:

Engage in scientific research and study on ecologically sound agricultural systems;

Distribute information on the scientific, economic, social and philosophical aspects of ecological agriculture;

Support widespread adoption of ecologically sound practices in agriculture, horticulture, aquaculture, and livestock husbandry;

Support humane and caring standards of livestock management.

The VABF Foundation is a public foundation. The Foundation’s purpose is primarily fundraising and fund distribution for 501(c)(3) eligible education and research activities within Virginia. The Foundation raises financial support for the advancement of ecological, sustainable and organic agriculture, and local communities.

Individuals and organizations are eligible for VABF Foundation funds when their activities fulfill our mission.

Please participate in VABF Foundation’s 2006 fund drive. Help us to build a stronger base for sustainable and organic production within Virginia.
