9:00-11:00am Tour of Ken Newman’s Royal Oak Farm commercial composting facility and sustainable swine farming operation in Bedford County. From Route 460 in the New London area of Bedford County, turn onto Route 811 South. There is a Sheetz gas station at this intersection. Stay straight onto Route 709 for about 3.5 miles. Turn right onto Route 24 West. Go about 1.5 miles, turn onto Route 713 (Orrix Creek Road). The farm is about 2 miles on the right.
